Welcome to CertiPass.app. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our certificate management platform.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use CertiPass.app. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Service Description
CertiPass.app is a certificate management platform that provides:
- Digital certificate creation and customization
- Certificate template management
- Participant management and data import
- Email delivery of certificates
- QR code and manual code verification system
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
Account Registration
To use CertiPass.app, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
Credits & Payments
Free Plan
New accounts receive 5 free PDF downloads per month. Free downloads do not include email delivery.
Credit Packs
Credits can be purchased to unlock additional features including email delivery. All prices include applicable taxes.
Credit Usage
- Credits are consumed when sending certificates via email
- Purchased credits do not expire
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our service, purchased credits are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made for technical issues that prevented service delivery.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.
User Responsibilities
As a user of CertiPass.app, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to issue certificates for your events
- Accuracy of participant data you upload
- Obtaining necessary consent from participants before uploading their data
- Compliance with applicable data protection laws
- Content of certificates you create and distribute
Intellectual Property
Our Intellectual Property
CertiPass.app, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Social IT srl. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, templates, participant data). By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content to provide our services.
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CertiPass.app for its intended purpose of certificate management.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use CertiPass.app to:
- Create fraudulent or misleading certificates
- Impersonate organizations or individuals
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit malware or malicious content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the operation of our platform
- Use automated systems to access our service without permission
Certificate Verification
Our verification system provides:
- QR code scanning for instant verification
- Manual code entry for alternative verification
- Verification logs for tracking and security
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social IT srl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CertiPass.app.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
CertiPass.app is a tool for certificate management. We are not responsible for the validity, accuracy, or legal standing of certificates created using our platform.
Termination
This agreement may be terminated under the following conditions:
Termination by You
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Unused credits will not be refunded.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to CertiPass.app will cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, we encourage the following resolution process:
- Contact us at contact@socialit.ro to attempt informal resolution
- If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation
- Legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Bucharest, Romania
